Mar. 22nd, 2005 02:30 pmSo this year is an amazing year for wildflowers in the desert. The drive into work every morning is so beautiful and different. Such splashes of color all along the roads - blues and yellows and pinks. :) So we went on 2 picture expeditions, including the two below. Have I mentioned that I love my digital camera?
Here's a Mexican Gold Poppy at Picacho Peak that I took:

The rest of my pictures are here:
Picacho Peak Wildflowers
and here:
Desert Museum Wildflowers
(these have Fairy Duster Pictures!)

My favorites are the Desert Museum pictures with more than one kind of flower.
I so need a digital camera. And I still don't want one.

Date: 2005-03-24 05:32 pm (UTC)I also couldn't do many of these pictures with my old film camera (the focus was broken, so only landscape pictures came out). But I did used to go through film like it was going out of style. :) Though my film developing was the Wal-Mart special...
There's a peak at Picacho Peak? I only saw the flowers! ;)
And yes, I do like the multi-flower pictures too. I'd really love to go after the displays along the road... if I wouldn't get killed doing so.
